Carlisle SynTec Systems and International Leak Detection (ILD®), the leading provider of Electric Field Vector Mapping (EFVM®), are pleased to provide Carlisle’s North American customers with state-of-the-art leak detection and watertight integrity testing of mechanically fastened and fully adhered roofing systems. With EFVM testing, Carlisle and ILD are now able to provide building owners with a cost-effective watertight integrity test.
EFVM testing uses a single conductor installed around the roof perimeter and drains for mechanically fastened thermoplastic membranes, thermoplastic membranes adhered directly to structural concrete decks, and fluid-applied waterproofing systems.
For accurate testing, membranes that are fully adhered over insulation or directly to hollow-core concrete decks require the Vector Mapping Grid (VMG®) to be installed directly below the membrane. The VMG is compatible with Carlisle’s Sure-Flex™ PVC, Sure-White® EPDM (using low-VOC or standard bonding adhesives), and select FleeceBACK® and AFX membranes.
This agreement will allow sales reps to satisfy specifications requiring EFVM with a Carlisle-tested and approved product.
Please contact your local manufacturer’s representative or distributor for more information.
