 Carlisle is introducing a new Vented Base Sheet to complement its growing line of multiple-ply roofing products and systems. Carlisle's Vented Base Sheet is a non-porous sheet designed to vent vapor through channels on the bottom surface, and is constructed with a fiberglass mat coated with weathering-grade asphalt.
The vented base sheet is used over lightweight concrete or gypsum decks, and is compatible with Carlisle's multi-ply systems. It can be nailed into place when used as a venting base with Carlisle's Dual Prong Base Sheet Fasteners.
Carlisle's Vented Base Sheet gives the customers the redundancy and toughness of a typical multi-ply modified system with the added value of the UV resistance and weatherability of our EPDM or TPO AFX cap sheets.
Carlisle's multiple-ply system using the new Vented Base Sheet will be covered under Carlisle's standard warranties up to 20 years, and will initially be direct-shipped with a minimum order of one (1) pallet (25 rolls per pallet).
