 Carlisle SynTec is pleased to announce the introduction of SecurShield CD (for combustible decks) to its growing line of high-performance commercial insulation products. SecurShield CD is composed of a 1" rigid polyiso core laminated on both sides to dimensionally stable, coated-glass facers. SecurShield CD achieves a UL Class A combustible deck assembly rating at a 1" thickness without the inclusion of a fire-rated slip sheet or gypsum coverboard. SecurShield CD is the ideal product for both new construction and tear off applications requiring a UL Class A assembly on a combustible deck with slopes up to ½":12".
SecurShield CD also provides these outstanding benefits:
- Compatible with all Carlisle single-ply roof systems
- 4' x 4' or 4' x 8' boards available
- R-Value = 6.0
- Inherent moisture resistance and improved resistance to high winds
